In simple words, international students play a big role in the Canadian economy and the Canadian government also supports international students a lot. Even in Covid-19 times, the Government of Canada gave financial support to international students. The other country in which most of international students want to go is Australia. But Australia has closed the international borders of its country for international students from more than last 18 months and the inclination of international students has become more towards countries like Canada, USA, UK Germany.

This morning there is very good news from the Government of Canada regarding international travel or for Indian students those wants to go for Canada.  When the second wave of Covid-19 came in India, Canada closed the international borders, now the Canadian government has opened Canada's international borders for Indian students. Let's say that the Government of Canada has started direct international flights from India. Let us tell you that before this, the Canada Government had extended the international travel ban till 26 September on Tuesday. But now the Government of Canada has opened international travel for Indians. From 27th September 2021, Indian travellers will be able to travel to Canada with some precautionary measures.

Covid-19 Protocols Need to follow for travelling to Canada:

Travelling to Canada is no longer difficult. Now Indian Students and International travellers have to follow some precautionary measures. Travel to Canada, you have to show the negative Covid report. According to official officials, it will be imperative for all passengers to have a negative Covid-19 report from an approved Genstring laboratory at the Delhi airport within 18 hours of the scheduled departure time of their flight to Canada If you have not the negative Covid-19 report( from approved Genstring laboratory) then you Cannot travel.

Which airlines are starting flights to Canada?

 Indian Students & Other Visa Holders of Canada who want to travel to Canada would be requested to ask the terms & conditions of the airlines you wish to book your flights. Along with this, ask whatever instructions are there from the airlines for travelling to Canada.

Now tell you which airlines are starting international flights from India to Canada. "Air Canada" airlines can start their flights from India to Canada coming Monday on 27 September. Whereas from September 30, 'Air India' will resume its flights to Canada.

What are the rules that fully Vaccinated Travellers have to follow for Canada?

Those who are fully vaccinated looking to travel for Canada will also have to follow the rules of Corona. Before travelling from India to Canada, travellers will also have to upload their fully vaccinate information on the 'ArriveCAN' mobile app or website. Any traveller who is going to travel from India to Canada. if he/she is not able to fulfil all these requirements will not be able to board on flight from International Airport of India.

For those who are going from India to Canada Indirect flights, the rest of the rules will remain the same. But they will also have to see the negative report of Covid-19 of the third country from where they are coming by indirect flight. Corona test must be conducted within 72 hours of flight departure time.
