Australia international borders will open before Christmas 2021

According to media news, Australia can open the international borders before Christmas.

Australia Tourism Minister Dan Tehan statement on Australia international borders opening:

Tourism Minister Dan Tehan told a national press club in Australia on Wednesday (22 September) that Australians will be able to travel to any abroad destination without other restrictions when the Corona vaccine rate reaches 80% in Australia. Explain that Australia's borders have been closed to most non-citizens and non-residents since March last year.  Mr. Tehan said that under the national plan governing the country's emergence from COVID-19. Australians will still be subject to the rules governing the countries they visit. Mr. Tehan said that the government is going to start travel bubbles very soon with some countries and hotel quarantine will also be reduced. Home quarantine can be failed instead of hotel quarantine; all these programs will be implemented before Christmas.

Australia enforced one of the world's strictest border controls, with international flights restricted and government-mandated hotel quarantines for all arriving passengers. These restrictions are set to ease before the end of the year, according to Tourism Minister Dan Tehan, as the country's vaccination rate accelerates.

Vaccination passport will be mandatory for travelling to Australia:

According to this news, Australia may cross the international borders before Christmas, but it will be difficult to travel without a vaccination passport. He said in clear words that the Australian Government is doing preliminary work to ensure this plane. He further added that Australians would be able to travel with a QR code attached to their passports, which would be able to show proof of vaccination, and that the Australian government would be required to vaccinate 80 percent of its population over the age of 16.

To be home quarantine the person has to provide proof of being fully quarantined and after verification he can be allowed for home quarantine otherwise the rules of hotel to quarantine remain in the system.

Australia has recognized four vaccines to help the fight against COVID-19, including Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
