According to Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, it is still not safe to open the international borders completely. On Monday, 17-oct2021,  Annastacia Palaszczuk  clarified that  her state’s plan to reopening the borders, but only for domestic travellers. Travel of fully vaccinated people can be started that too from safe countries. It can be said from this statement that Australia has not yet opened any plans for International Students and 485 Visa Holders. From Last Nearly 2 Years Australia International borders are closed, Official statements are coming from last few months in Australia but all statements are different. Australian government said that they are hoping for reopening its international borders for International students & tourists by the end of December 2021. Still confirmation on this statement is pending.

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said that 70% of the target will be achieved by the February week of November 2021 and after that fully vaccinated people and those who report negative for COVID test in the past 72 hours will be able to travel to Queensland. Have done quarantine at home for 14 days still it will be necessary.

 When can international students travel to Queensland, Australia?

According to the Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk fully vaccinated travellers can enter in Queensland via air or road and those travellers will not need to be quarantine but must have a corona test negative report within 72 hours of arrival. Further she said that overseas travellers will have to see negative COVID test reports on arrivals and those travellers can quarantine at home. Those overseas travellers who don't meet vaccine requirements must complete 14 days of hotel quarantine. South Australia state government still have to submit its plan for reopening of international borders. The only positive outcome from all statements of Australia different states premiers that all they said that vaccination is mandatory and now people have to learn to live with covid 19. The vaccination is the only solution.

When Australia will reopen international border for international students & travellers:
